With the City of Ariel grand opening only a month away, we are holding our first ever test drive meme. Tag in and see how your character would settle in the game. You're a fresh face in the city, newly processed, and arriving at a bustling time. The city is expanding and you are greeted first in the re-education center by your helpful counselors and then directed out of the building to a large festival.

Be puzzled, make friends, have sex, or whatever you want! There are no restrictions on thread types played out here.

Your first awareness that something has gone wrong comes during a groggy moment of semi-lucidity when you look around yourself and find that -- instead of wherever you remember being last -- you're in a chair, in a room with a man you don't recognize. He's sitting behind a desk whistling to himself and sorting paperwork. The whole atmosphere might remind you of a high school guidance counselor's office, only with far more comfortable chairs.

When your head clears enough to speak and you ask him where you are, he smiles brightly and says, "Welcome to the City of Ariel."

You were brought to Ariel during a very special time! There's a large festival going on celebrating the new expansions to the city and everything is decked out for it. Everything is bustling and vibrant in the city today because of the celebrations. There are decorations up, food vendors set up all along the streets, kissing booths, games, and just about anything else you can imagine an event like this would have!

The people of Ariel are out and about as well, some are in vibrant costumes and others are just checking out the sights. Some of the more exhibitionist types are even having a little more fun out in public than you may be used to seeing back home.

As soon as the grogginess from your arrival passes, you are allowed to leave the re-education center and see it all for yourself. Upon exiting, you are even handed beads of various colors, several of each so you don't worry about running out.

Each color has a special meaning listed below:

pink - toys
blue - oral
yellow - watersports
green - age play
lavender - crossdressing
orange - multiples
grey - bondage
white - hands (mutual masturbation, fingering, handjob)
red - blood
black - wildcard

These are to aid you in making a connection with others. Show your interest in others and tell them exactly what you would like to do with them by sharing the beads.

If you would rather take a different approach, feel free to walk around the festival and see what (or who) catches your eye. The point is to relax and get settled in your new home.

This kid was a demon of some kind, Aldric was sure of it. But was he really this young? Or was he perhaps a greater demon who decided to use a teenager's body as his personal disguise? Strange, that body didn't...feel like a disguise. If this boy was a demon, he sure was a strange one.

Aldric wanted to know more. What kind of demon was he? Was he powerful enough to sense Aldric as one? Well...only one way to find out. Putting on his best smile, Aldric approached the boy, hands nonchalantly resting in his slack pockets.

"Sure are taking this situation quite well, aren't you?"

[Unfortunately for Aldric, while Rin was normally powerful he was also a class-A part human dumbass. Even if he could sense other demons, he lacked the focus to really be in tune with that sort of ability most of the time, and for the moment he wasn't paying enough attention for that.

He looked up at the voice, having been admiring a selection of glass pendants at a fairly innocuous looking booth, blinking his blue eyes a few times before both eyebrows went up.]

... you say that like a festival is a bad thing.

"Such a naive, innocent creature..." Aldric spoke in a rather longing voice, envious at this boy's oblivious attitude.

"Do you not question when something goes wrong? You are in a mysterious place, with no clue as to how you got here, and yet you're frolicking about like you're at a familiar place with your friends and family." Smiling rather enviously, Aldric reached forward and let a slender finger of his brush against the teen's round cheek. The kid had a soft face. It was cute.

"Have you not payed attention to the man you were forced to sit down and talk to before coming here?"

The words didn't bother him so much as the manner in which they were spoken did. Dumb as Rin could be at times, he did pick up on social cues and body language better than most kids his age did. Lord knew he spent enough time watching people, with all the hours he spent on his own either in school zoning out or out in the city avoiding going home.

This guy was reminding him of the older girls in the seedier districts in True Cross City, and he wasn't sure he liked it.

The touch turned his expression from confused in to a nasty scowl, hand coming up to smack the fingers away from him.

"I paid attention." A lie, evidenced by the fact that he was still wearing his beads. All of them. "Maybe I wanna ignore it for a while, ever think of that?"

"Ooh, getting snappy, aren't we?"

Aldric only laughed, amused by Rin's obvious lie. It wasn't just the beads, that lie was all over him, the way he stuttered, and twitched in some places. Of course, the beads did help. Aldric reached out and caressed one of the beads, rolling it between his fingers. This specific bead happened to be a pure white one, as pure as this boy that he was currently harassing.

"Tell me, love, if you're trying to ignore it, why must you flaunt out these beads that show the opposite?"

Rin yanked his arm away hard, and kept his scowl and narrowed eyes, but internally he was frantic.

Shit shit what had the beads meant? What had any of it meant?! He knew he heard it he had just chosen to act disinterested and annoyed until he had gotten outside and--

Wait.

The naked people around. Some of the booths having... odd things.

A city of pleasure--

Oh fucknuggets.

"I-I didn't wanna lose 'em! That's all!" he managed to sputter out, quickly hooking fingers around them and trying to get them off. No no no not here not now!

Rin really needed to stop lying. He was doing a horrible job of it. Aldric couldn't read minds, but he could read faces. Sure, a good pokerface could fool him, but Rin was definitely easy to read.

Aldric continued to smile in amusement as Rin stuttered and fidgeted. This kid was easy to tease, wasn't he? Perhaps it was only his imagination that Aldric thought he was a demon, but he still couldn't shake off that feeling that he was. Shrugging it off for now, Aldric pulled out a couple of beads from his own pocket, and showed them to Rin.

"This..." Aldric showed a white bead first. "Is for hands."

He pulled out a blue one next, followed by a grey one.

"This is for a mouth, and this is for bondage." And he placed the beads back in his pocket. "You're supposed to share these with people to communicate. I suppose you understand now?"

He did now, and it was making his stomach turn just thinking about it. He continued to fumble with the beads, wishing like hell his hands would stop shaking, until he finally managed to get them off his wrist and stuff them in his pocket.

There. Problem solved, right?

"I don't wanna share 'em," he finally answered truthfully, tongue suddenly thick in his mouth and making him even less eloquent than he usually was. "Lemmie alone, okay? I ain't interested."

Aldric let out another sinister chuckle.

"Your face became so red. It's an appealing look on you, I must say..." Aldric's eyes traveled all over Rin's body. So young, so innocent...should Aldric get to the point or shall he tease him some more? And what was that about not being interested? Sorry, that's not in Aldric's vocabulary.

The incubus slowly started to circle the young half-demon, his eyes growing more and more sinister.

"You'll have to grow accustomed eventually. Why not start now? I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I must say I would be a good choice to start with. You seem...like such a spoiling type."

As if he wasn't already feeling uncomfortable...

Rin took a step back, and another, moving his arms over himself protectively. His heart was positively racing, thudding loud in his ears, tail lashing about like an irritated but uncertain cat about to get cornered by a pissed off dog.

"F... fuck off!" he snapped, and before anything further could be exchanged between them he darted around the other man in an attempt to take off running.
