Rin felt himself let go of, and slumped against the tree while panting heavily until his knees finally gave out on him and sent him sliding down until he hit the ground. His blue eyes opened, slightly clouded but surprisingly lacking anger towards Aldric. He was still freaked, sure - that wasn't going to just vanished - but some sense of relief was forcing away any further upset he could muster at the man.
He had stopped, which in his words hasn't been act of pity over anything else, but Rin was still grateful for it. He let out a strained sound, swallowing back a sick sensation rising in his throat. So he was a demon... but Rin couldn't feel shit right then. Whatever ability he had to sense other demons had become just as muted as his flames. He wanted to be pissed, but after all that all he could find room for was a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach.
"... what did they say... would happen if I refused... ?" he asked quietly, voice raspy from his earlier cries.
