[The warmth of Loki's lips against his palm is a welcome tease, and Thor wishes to put his hands to better use, and feel those warm lips against his own instead of his hand. But there are words between them still to be said, that must be said. No urging would be enough to cause his young brother harm now. Not even in this way, with pleasure he may not be sure of.]

We are brothers. [Thor answers Loki's inquiry simply, as it seems a simple thing to him - the years, the centuries of brotherhood, and enmity, and conflict. They are rivals, and lovers, and brothers in arms. They are Thor and Loki.]

[And though Loki now does not remember the details, he knows of his past self's history, must know from stories how they fought, and fought together in days long past. More importantly, they love now. Is that not enough reason to pursue these emboldened feelings?]


We are what we have always been, will always be. What is there to question?
