CITY OF ARIEL: THE TEST DRIVE THE OVERFLOW, PART DEUX! Since the last post is again fast approaching 3k comments and getting laggy for some of our players, we have decided to go ahead and stick up the overflow post, even though there's just a little over a week to game start. Please continue your threads or start new ones here if you'd like. We started the meme early to give you plenty of room to do just that. ◆◆◆◆ With the City of Ariel grand opening only a month away, we are holding our first ever test drive meme. Tag in and see how your character would settle in the game. You're a fresh face in the city, newly processed, and arriving at a bustling time. The city is expanding and you are greeted first in the re-education center by your helpful counselors and then directed out of the building to a large festival. Be puzzled, make friends, have sex, or whatever you want! There are no restrictions on thread types played out here. Your first awareness that something has gone wrong comes during a groggy moment of semi-lucidity when you look around yourself and find that -- instead of wherever you remember being last -- you're in a chair, in a room with a man you don't recognize. He's sitting behind a desk whistling to himself and sorting paperwork. The whole atmosphere might remind you of a high school guidance counselor's office, only with far more comfortable chairs. When your head clears enough to speak and you ask him where you are, he smiles brightly and says, "Welcome to the City of Ariel." You were brought to Ariel during a very special time! There's a large festival going on celebrating the new expansions to the city and everything is decked out for it. Everything is bustling and vibrant in the city today because of the celebrations. There are decorations up, food vendors set up all along the streets, kissing booths, games, and just about anything else you can imagine an event like this would have! The people of Ariel are out and about as well, some are in vibrant costumes and others are just checking out the sights. Some of the more exhibitionist types are even having a little more fun out in public than you may be used to seeing back home. As soon as the grogginess from your arrival passes, you are allowed to leave the re-education center and see it all for yourself. Upon exiting, you are even handed beads of various colors, several of each so you don't worry about running out. Each color has a special meaning listed below: pink - toys blue - oral yellow - watersports green - age play lavender - crossdressing orange - multiples grey - bondage white - hands (mutual masturbation, fingering, handjob) red - blood black - wildcard These are to aid you in making a connection with others. Show your interest in others and tell them exactly what you would like to do with them by sharing the beads. If you would rather take a different approach, feel free to walk around the festival and see what (or who) catches your eye. The point is to relax and get settled in your new home.

"Do I get to hear the secret?" But then he held up a hand. "Wait let me guess." A hand on his chin as he looked over from head to toe, a wide grin still on his lips.

"Leather cuffs, enough lining too keep them chaffing. Hmmm behind the back, bent over and played with or cuffs over your head and legs up?"

"Nope," she shook her head, still rolling the bead between her fingers. "Bondage isn't really a 'getting to know you' kind of activity." While she didn't mind it occasionally, she certainly wasn't going to let someone she didn't know in a place like this tie her up.

"More of a third date thing?" He chuckled low and took a step closer. "Kinda rules out a lot of things, but there's always the option of a long screw. Doesn't always need bells and whistles, especially if it's done right."

"As opposed to a short one?" She stayed where she was, letting him move closer, smile turning slightly teasing. "It's the 'done right' part that isn't always achieved. Sometimes, I think there needs to be a guidebook."

"Short ones aren't a very good 'getting to know' activity either." Very little did he rule out; right time, right place, right person, and who knew what could happen? "Pretty damn sure most people'd still be lost even with a book."

"True. So, basically what you're saying is that the best getting to know you activity is a long slow screw, hmm? Done right, of course." She grinned, tucking her hair behind her ear. She might actually agree with him on that one. She'd had a few guys who even with instructions still couldn't find what she was pointing out to save their lives.

"Well," He hooked one thumb in his belt loop, "it's got several things going for it; plenty of time t' get acquainted, nobody's gotta worry about the kinky shit first time, and it's more or less a test drive. Don't like the model? Send it on it's way."

"There's that. And there's always a certain appeal with straight sex off the bat." Her tongue flicked out to wet her lip, her grin still sitting comfortably on her face as she let her eyes drift down to the hooked thumb. "Though, out of curiosity, I have to wonder what color assortment you've got going on..."

"Can't hurt right?" Honestly, Reno had snagged the beds, stuffed them in his pocket and promptly forgotten all about them. What did he grab anyway. With his tongue caught between his teeth, Reno dug into his pocket and pulled out an assortment of pink, blue, gray, white, and of course black. Shaking them once in his hand, one corner of his mouth tilted up.

"Guy's gotta keep his options open." A wink followed as he adjusted the tiny beads deftly until they fit in between his fingers.

"Nice little assortment there," she grinned, having most of the same colors in her pocket as well. She just preferred the white and black combo more at the moment.

That had her laughing, nodding as she moved to slip her hands in her back pockets, rocking her weight from foot to foot as she stood there. "Yeah, options are definitely a plus."

"They cover the basic." Said with a nod and then a tilt of his head. "So this is part where I can proposition you indecently or off to buy you a drink. Preference?"

"Why not both?" She said with a small shrug of her shoulders and an accompanying grin. "Buy me a drink, then proposition me indecently. The more indecent, the better."

"Now that is one damned fine idea." And from the look in his eyes, he isn't just talking about the idea. Without batting a lash, Reno slid an arm around her waist with a devilish sort of grin. "Then let's go."

She grins back, moving to lead him off to one of the side buildings that boasted of bars and clubs. She's prefer a bar for the moment, or a pub. "What're you in the mood for, hmm?"

"A cold beer and some place I ain't gotta scream to talk." There was a time a place for everything. However he already had a semi-headache from sheer information over load. "This work?"

His head jerks in the direction of one of the smaller bars that wasn't overflowing with people.

"Seems just fine to me," she said, heading in that direction. She entered the bar with him, looking around until she saw one of the back booths available. "Mind a booth?"

"Not at all. You grab the seat, I'll grab the drinks... so what's your poison?" He'd wait until she answered before slipping off to the bar and procuring both their chosen poisons.

Upon his return, Reno handed it over with a flourish and wink before sliding into the both and sinking back into it. One pull from the bottle and at the moment it tasted like the best he's ever had.

"I like a Long Island Iced Tea for starters," she answered, watching him head off to get them as she slid into the booth, shrugging out of her jacket.

Taking the drink with a smile when he returned, her lips quirked at the wink before she took a sip. Not bad. "So, what's your story, hmm?"

"Short and boring." If only because there wasn't much of his story that he could or would tell. He made himself comfortable grinning around the neck of the bottle. "Typical poor kid story. Parents died when I was pretty young, grew up on the shitty side of town, and eventually got a decent job." It's true, as far as it goes anyway.

"But I like good booze and it's even better with smokin' hot company." That grin though was still sly and he winked before daring to slip his arm back around her. "Name's Reno. And now that you know my life story, you gonna share?"

"Only in that it's equally short and boring. Mom left early on. Dad was military. We moved around a lot and that sort of stuck with me when I got older. I don't really stick around in one place long, so this is kind of going to take some getting used to. And I'm Skylar. Sky's good."

She leaned into him slightly, taking another long pull of her drink before setting it down and toying with the droplets of condensation. "And now that that's out of the way, I'm waiting for this hopefully extremely inappropriate proposition."

"Here's to short and boring pasts, but better futures." A soft clink of his bottle against her glass, but then he arched a brow and dipped his head in her direction.

"Then I probably should have done that before the introductions. Doesn't change the fact that I'd like to strip you down, handle you right, then see just how long the fucking needs t' be so we're both not real worried about moving in the end." His expression didn't waver in the slightest nor did there seem to be any trace of hesitation at all.

"Anything less than an hour and you're doing it wrong," she shot back, giving him an impish grin as she continued to play with her glass.

"This'll all have to take place somewhere with a bed, though. I'm not keen on being left fucked out and wrung out on a bench or behind a tree."

"Definitely not the most comfortable places." He couldn't help but grin, even laugh. "Can't have you walkin' away disappointed right?"

"Do it right and I shouldn't be able to walk." A small laugh, and she shifts her legs to let her knee press up against his.

“Now that’s what I like to hear.” With that casual bump against his leg, Reno turned a touch in her direction. One hand slipped down and curled under her knee. A small tug, urging her legs over his. “If this place is all about pleasure and indulging might as well take advantage of it.”
