Well, she blushes just a tiny bit more, then takes a deep breath and tries to keep herself under control. She's definitely developing a bit of a crush on Umi. Thankfully she's already accepted the fact that she likes girls, or this would be way more awkward than it already was.

"... Yeah, alright. Thanks." Trace mumbles. "I mean, uh. You said you were a knight, right? I don't know if I can play the princess, but I'm fine with you helping me out. I'll do whatever I can to help you out. Might not be much, but... well, I can do my best." There. That made Trace a lot less embarrassed about it. She wasn't being protected it was just something that benefited them both. That involved her being protected. Dammit.
