CITY OF ARIEL: THE TEST DRIVE THE OVERFLOW, PART DEUX! Since the last post is again fast approaching 3k comments and getting laggy for some of our players, we have decided to go ahead and stick up the overflow post, even though there's just a little over a week to game start. Please continue your threads or start new ones here if you'd like. We started the meme early to give you plenty of room to do just that. ◆◆◆◆ With the City of Ariel grand opening only a month away, we are holding our first ever test drive meme. Tag in and see how your character would settle in the game. You're a fresh face in the city, newly processed, and arriving at a bustling time. The city is expanding and you are greeted first in the re-education center by your helpful counselors and then directed out of the building to a large festival. Be puzzled, make friends, have sex, or whatever you want! There are no restrictions on thread types played out here. Your first awareness that something has gone wrong comes during a groggy moment of semi-lucidity when you look around yourself and find that -- instead of wherever you remember being last -- you're in a chair, in a room with a man you don't recognize. He's sitting behind a desk whistling to himself and sorting paperwork. The whole atmosphere might remind you of a high school guidance counselor's office, only with far more comfortable chairs. When your head clears enough to speak and you ask him where you are, he smiles brightly and says, "Welcome to the City of Ariel." You were brought to Ariel during a very special time! There's a large festival going on celebrating the new expansions to the city and everything is decked out for it. Everything is bustling and vibrant in the city today because of the celebrations. There are decorations up, food vendors set up all along the streets, kissing booths, games, and just about anything else you can imagine an event like this would have! The people of Ariel are out and about as well, some are in vibrant costumes and others are just checking out the sights. Some of the more exhibitionist types are even having a little more fun out in public than you may be used to seeing back home. As soon as the grogginess from your arrival passes, you are allowed to leave the re-education center and see it all for yourself. Upon exiting, you are even handed beads of various colors, several of each so you don't worry about running out. Each color has a special meaning listed below: pink - toys blue - oral yellow - watersports green - age play lavender - crossdressing orange - multiples grey - bondage white - hands (mutual masturbation, fingering, handjob) red - blood black - wildcard These are to aid you in making a connection with others. Show your interest in others and tell them exactly what you would like to do with them by sharing the beads. If you would rather take a different approach, feel free to walk around the festival and see what (or who) catches your eye. The point is to relax and get settled in your new home.

[reclining against her tree and just watching Jean, very obviously amused]

As long as it takes, petal.

[she thinks for a moment, expression neutral]

[Then she stands and glides over to Ivy, only stopping when she's close enough that they're barely touching.]

[She leans forward for a kiss but stops before their lips actually touch]

[that gets her a moment of perfect silence and stillness before Ivy smiles.

but she's not moving away, no - just bringing her hand up to run one finger down the line of Jean's neck, light as a butterfly, gazing straight into the other woman's eyes without flinching]

[she shudders and her gaze wavers. She holds her ground though, not moving forward to kiss nor moving away]

[abelladonna]

[that's fine, because Ivy can keep this up aaaaall day. Her finger is sliding lower now, tracing down to the collar of Jean's shirt and then following the edge of the material towards where the first button holds her clothing together]

[Her breath hitches and she seems to be having a heavy debate over whether this is a good idea or not. She wavers, undecided if she should pull away. Her eyes still locked on Ivy's, waiting]

[abelladonna]

Just give in, Jean.

[it's a murmur, and Ivy's not looking away. Worse, she's started to trace a complicated pattern up towards the other woman's collarbone - to anyone looking, it's clearly vines and leaves in the invisible drawing]

[A shudder and a soft moan]

No.

[She dips her head down and kisses her neck instead]

[abelladonna]

[for a brief moment, once Jean's not looking, Ivy's lips curve into a smile. Winning is so much more fun...

But now she reaches for the first button on Jean's shirt - or at least the first one that's buttoned up, after their earlier attempt at camouflage - and undoes it.

Just one button.]

[brings a hand up to close it over Ivy's]

We probably shouldn't go any further.

[she's not very convincing]

[abelladonna]

[she's letting Jean keep that hand where it is, without even the hint of a fight - but that means she still has another hand free, and the supervillain's reaching up to brush her fingers over Jean's mouth]

So say no.

And make me believe it.

[because that's not a difficult demand, right?]

[from_the_ashes]

[She breathes deeply, silent for a while. Then she lightly clamps her lips over one of Ivy's fingers instead, closing her eyes]

[abelladonna]

[Ivy laughs, and draws her finger back - but only so she can cup Jean's cheek in her hand, lightly running her thumb along the other woman's bottom lip.

Sometimes you have to live up to being called a tease, after all.]

I was expecting you to fight me for a little longer.

[...not that she sounds disappointed.]

[she dips her head down so she can hold Ivy's thumb between her lips too, running her tongue over it before pulling away]

It doesn't help that I decided a while ago I wouldn't mind if it was with you.

[abelladonna]

You barely know me.

[moving her captured hand a little, just enough to hint that letting it go would be a great idea right about now]

[from_the_ashes]

[oh. She lets go]

That's true. I don't.

[abelladonna]

So why me?

[...but her hand is moving to undo another button, and she sounds genuinely curious]

[from_the_ashes]

You haven't done anything I don't like so far.

[abelladonna]

[she gets a husky laugh]

You'll like anything I do to you, Jean.

[and Ivy's taking hold of a handful of Jean's shirt, and pulling her forward]

[from_the_ashes]

[she gasps and leans forward, bumping her nose against Ivy's. There's a little hesitation and then she's gently pressing her lips to hers]

[abelladonna]

[this time, Ivy's response is much more demanding, almost aggressive. She's stepping forward, too, to keep Jean slightly off-balance]
