CITY OF ARIEL: THE TEST DRIVE THE OVERFLOW, PART DEUX! Since the last post is again fast approaching 3k comments and getting laggy for some of our players, we have decided to go ahead and stick up the overflow post, even though there's just a little over a week to game start. Please continue your threads or start new ones here if you'd like. We started the meme early to give you plenty of room to do just that. ◆◆◆◆ With the City of Ariel grand opening only a month away, we are holding our first ever test drive meme. Tag in and see how your character would settle in the game. You're a fresh face in the city, newly processed, and arriving at a bustling time. The city is expanding and you are greeted first in the re-education center by your helpful counselors and then directed out of the building to a large festival. Be puzzled, make friends, have sex, or whatever you want! There are no restrictions on thread types played out here. Your first awareness that something has gone wrong comes during a groggy moment of semi-lucidity when you look around yourself and find that -- instead of wherever you remember being last -- you're in a chair, in a room with a man you don't recognize. He's sitting behind a desk whistling to himself and sorting paperwork. The whole atmosphere might remind you of a high school guidance counselor's office, only with far more comfortable chairs. When your head clears enough to speak and you ask him where you are, he smiles brightly and says, "Welcome to the City of Ariel." You were brought to Ariel during a very special time! There's a large festival going on celebrating the new expansions to the city and everything is decked out for it. Everything is bustling and vibrant in the city today because of the celebrations. There are decorations up, food vendors set up all along the streets, kissing booths, games, and just about anything else you can imagine an event like this would have! The people of Ariel are out and about as well, some are in vibrant costumes and others are just checking out the sights. Some of the more exhibitionist types are even having a little more fun out in public than you may be used to seeing back home. As soon as the grogginess from your arrival passes, you are allowed to leave the re-education center and see it all for yourself. Upon exiting, you are even handed beads of various colors, several of each so you don't worry about running out. Each color has a special meaning listed below: pink - toys blue - oral yellow - watersports green - age play lavender - crossdressing orange - multiples grey - bondage white - hands (mutual masturbation, fingering, handjob) red - blood black - wildcard These are to aid you in making a connection with others. Show your interest in others and tell them exactly what you would like to do with them by sharing the beads. If you would rather take a different approach, feel free to walk around the festival and see what (or who) catches your eye. The point is to relax and get settled in your new home.

"Maybe I like you." Hah. "Maybe I just want to watch you try to squirm past that wall of naked, writhing bodies over there and pretend you don't like it." More likely.

"Maybe I'm bored." That too, and maybe subconsciously a little of the first one.

"You known me for a couple hours, y'don't like me." He rolled his eyes, giving a passing glance to the squirming bodies she was referring to. Dammit.

"Go join'em then, won't be bored then, will you?"

"I bond quickly." There was teasing and a bit of truth there. She'd clicked onto Bo within a heartbeat. Of course, she'd also saved her from some roofie slipping bastard, but, that was a different story.

"Nah, not much into group scenes. That's Bobo's style."

"Whatever." He scowled deeper, body tense as he tried to figure out some damn way to get the hell out.

"So what do you want?"

"Maybe I want to know a bit more about you and your strange, non-sex liking ways."

[theonlyzenone]

"Who the hell said I don't like sex? I like it just fine when I can have it on my own terms." Not because some assholes in the city told him to go forth and fuck, goddammit.

[sawyourwolfjunk]

"You sure about that? I have yet to see a guy turn down free sex, whatever the reason. I mean, do you know what it is? Have you had it? See, it's when a man and a woman really like each other, they get naked and have 'special hug time'."

[theonlyzenone]

"Well, maybe all you know's a bunch of horndogs or something. Shit, I don't know!" He spun around, eyes narrowing a little as he stepped up, close and in her personal space. He was seeing red, frustrated. "Look, I'm gonna spell it out for you... it ain't none of your goddamn business! I know what sex is. I ain't ignorant!"

She stopped when he did, but she didn't back away when he stepped up close. She tipped her chin up, giving him a stubborn look. "Watching it in porn doesn't mean you know squat, junior."

Jesus crap, what the hell was she doing? Was she purposefully egging him on? Seemed like it.

He had a few options here -- walking away wasn't working. She kept buzzing around him like a goddamn fly. He could sock her in the face... but while he'd come close a time or two, he didn't go around beating on women either.

But she did get him pushing in for a rough kiss, trying to get her up against the nearest wall. Show her he knew a thing or two, goddammit.

Huh. She hadn't expected that. She found herself moving backwards, back hitting the wall hard enough to push out the air in her chest; air she greedily sucked back in through her nose, her mouth covered by his.

Her hands were up by her shoulders, surprise leaving her with little to react with until they moved to grab his shirt, two fistfuls of fabric being grabbed to... pull him closer? Wait, that wasn't right.

Except the curling in her stomach that wanted to go lower said that it was right, which was her only excuse for kissing him back - just as ungently as he'd started it.

When she kissed him back, he pressed in closer, moving on instinct and at the urging in his damn head. So many things were filtering through he knew he shouldn't act on, but couldn't resist either.

One hand went to tangle in her hair while the other rested at her hip, tugging her in closer.

She bit at his lower lip, body pushing back against his - not to move him away, but to egg him on still. Poke the bear. She felt his hand in her hair, the other on her hip and she hummed out a moan, her own hands tugging him closer by his shirt, twisting up the fabric as though she could imagine it away.

Did she want to imagine it away? She wasn't sure, but she was sure that the way his body felt, hard and hot and hungry against hers was pushing all sorts of buttons for her. Damn.

He wanted to stay right where he was, surprisingly enough, but goddamn... they were out in public and on display. Didn't matter how satisfying it was to feel her push up against him, moan like that.

He pulled away and looked down, letting out a soft grunt. "We ain't doin' this crap here."

Wait... why was he stopping? Come back.

It took her a second to let the words filter in, make sense. Oh, right. Public space. "That mean we're doing some kind of crap?" Because she was all kinds of confused, but the one thing that was ringing clear in her head was that she wanted more of that.

"I don't know," he answered honestly. Hadn't planned on doing anything and truth be told, he was a little damn surprised at himself. He scratched at the back of his head, looked around.

"But we ain't doing it here."

"How about somewhere with a shower?" Because the idea of doing 'crap' wasn't terribly horrible, but yeah, she wouldn't mind him being a bit cleaner.

"A shower?" He gives a confused look for a minute. Of all the damn things... "What, like back at the apartments or something?"

"Or something like that, yeah." She wanted to see what was under that layer of grime, and if it matched the way he'd kissed her. Because... whoa.

"Mine or yours?"

"Depends." There might have been a teasing look to his face then, lips quirking up. "You gonna be one of those crazy stalkin' bitches if I show you mine?"

That earned him an eyeroll and a scoff. "Puh-leeze. Give me some credit." It was kind of nice to see that he could tease, though. There might be hope for him yet.

"Fine, c'mon then." He took a step back, taking a look around where they were. His place was close, so he figured that's right where they were heading anyway.

She followed after him easily enough, though a part of her brain was wondering what the hell she was doing. There was clearly something wrong with him, him and his easily-spiked temper and the layers of dirt. But still... she found it intriguing for some reason. "You already been to your place?"

[theonlyzenone]

"Went there for a minute before I decided to check out the rest of the city." Wanted to see what kinda place this city offered. Wasn't bad either. Small, but clean and a hell of a lot better than anything he'd had in a long time.

"You check out yours?"

"Not yet. I was more interested in checking out the area, you know? Figure out what I had to deal with." She'd squatted in a variety of places, so a place was a place to her.
