It's that time finally! Here's our How's My Driving? post. This sitewide meme will go up on the 20th of every month and it's encouraged that everyone post! Please post a list of your current in-game characters as a reference for other members to use for comments or critique.

Remember to keep it civil. Outright flaming will not be tolerated and we will deal with any hostile comments as soon as possible. Critique should be constructive. Offer ways a player can improve their characters, solve any problems you might have, etc. rather than just telling them they're horrible with no examples or pointers.

Likewise, this isn't a love meme. It's great to tell someone you think they're doing a good job or you love playing with them! Just give reasons for why you think they're awesome or what they're doing well. We're not discouraging positive comments. Love is great, but so is hearing why you are so you know what to keep doing.

Anon comments are enabled and IP logging is off for those who'd prefer a little anonymity, but please don't abuse this feature to be rude to other players.

Well Tsumi, as always I love playing with you and your characters, but let's see if I can crank out something worthwhile here.

Jaime is just plain adorable. It's always fun to watch how he's trying to find answers and being the good mentor/older sibling he doesn't see himself as, while just trying to deal with Ariel stuff as it is.

Odd is just the special person he's described as, I love how carefree he is about everything, willing to make new friends and just going with the city of sex setting like it's no big deal while most people aren't.

Been here only a week, but might as well post here anyway...?
I work weekends, so i will always be slow/gone then, but i will backtag and answer any messages as best i can. (I will also be scarce next week since i'm with family for the holidays, oops!)

If you don't mind thinking this suggestion over a little, I think it would be an improvement if there was less of Sollux in him. There's a lot of wiggle room in the characterization of the ancestors but I'm seeing too much bitterness and sarcasm, to the point where if I was asked what the difference was between your character and Sollux I wouldn't know what to say.

Sure thing, i'll tone down more of that in his casual conversations. It can't completely disappear, as it's a wall, a defense mechanism of sorts. As for more serious interactions, i'm currently trying to build CR where his more mature facets would shine, like his experience as a prophet and his protective side. He also doesn't trust a lot of people in the city at the moment, which hinders non-sarcastic things like showing compassion (surely perceived as a sign of weakness for a troll) and giving sage advice. Soon, though~~
