CITY OF ARIEL: THE TEST DRIVE THE OVERFLOW Since the last post is fast approaching 3k comments and getting laggy for some of our players, we have decided to go ahead and stick up the overflow post. Please continue your threads or start new ones here if you'd like. We started the meme early to give you plenty of room to do just that. ◆◆◆◆ With the City of Ariel grand opening only a month away, we are holding our first ever test drive meme. Tag in and see how your character would settle in the game. You're a fresh face in the city, newly processed, and arriving at a bustling time. The city is expanding and you are greeted first in the re-education center by your helpful counselors and then directed out of the building to a large festival. Be puzzled, make friends, have sex, or whatever you want! There are no restrictions on thread types played out here. Your first awareness that something has gone wrong comes during a groggy moment of semi-lucidity when you look around yourself and find that -- instead of wherever you remember being last -- you're in a chair, in a room with a man you don't recognize. He's sitting behind a desk whistling to himself and sorting paperwork. The whole atmosphere might remind you of a high school guidance counselor's office, only with far more comfortable chairs. When your head clears enough to speak and you ask him where you are, he smiles brightly and says, "Welcome to the City of Ariel." You were brought to Ariel during a very special time! There's a large festival going on celebrating the new expansions to the city and everything is decked out for it. Everything is bustling and vibrant in the city today because of the celebrations. There are decorations up, food vendors set up all along the streets, kissing booths, games, and just about anything else you can imagine an event like this would have! The people of Ariel are out and about as well, some are in vibrant costumes and others are just checking out the sights. Some of the more exhibitionist types are even having a little more fun out in public than you may be used to seeing back home. As soon as the grogginess from your arrival passes, you are allowed to leave the re-education center and see it all for yourself. Upon exiting, you are even handed beads of various colors, several of each so you don't worry about running out. Each color has a special meaning listed below: pink - toys blue - oral yellow - watersports green - age play lavender - crossdressing orange - multiples grey - bondage white - hands (mutual masturbation, fingering, handjob) red - blood black - wildcard These are to aid you in making a connection with others. Show your interest in others and tell them exactly what you would like to do with them by sharing the beads. If you would rather take a different approach, feel free to walk around the festival and see what (or who) catches your eye. The point is to relax and get settled in your new home.

She was oddly not disarmed. Smiles that wide always had her wondering what they were trying to cover. "Uh huh...."

Tony waved a hand. "I went through a... period. You know. Awhile ago. But in my defense, I was a rich orphan playboy genius, so you know, I had an excuse. Anyway, I'm just playing with you. Not crazy."

"Well, good on the not crazy. Thumbs up, really." She was curious about the rest, though. "So, if you're so smart, how come you wound up here with the rest of us chumps?"

Tony shrugged. "Things happen. I mean, hey, some days you wake up in a terrorist cave with your heart hooked up to a car battery. But you pick yourself up, make yourself a robotic suit, and break the hell out."

The guy had the strangest analogies. Really. But she found she kind of liked them. "Okay then, Mr. Optimism. Where would you suggest starting with building a breaking the hell out of here suit?"

It wasn't an analogy, of course, but he didn't know she didn't know that. "First we gotta know where 'here' is," he said. "It's kind of recently come to my attention that Earth's not the only planet, so I don't know if the suit thing's going to work a second time. First step, I say, is figure out what this place is. And how it ticks."

"Well, if the little crash course they gave us is to be believed, this place is a sextopia and it runs on, yep, you guessed it... sex." Any other day, learning about 'other planets' would have weirded her out. Today, however, it was kind of just par for the course.

"Well, yeah, that's what they say," Tony said. "Sounds like porn, though, right?"

"Why do I feel like you're the expert between the two of us in that category?" She smirked.

"Because of all the porn I've watched," Tony deadpanned. "And all the sex."

"With yourself?" Oh, but it took sheer will not to laugh at that.

"Myself, others, you're not likely to evoke a reaction of shame anytime soon," he told her.

"Shame wasn't really what I was going for, daddio." She was trying to keep her eyes on his face, some tickly fluttery sensation in the pit of her stomach making her want to let them drop down the rest of him. Stupid brain chip.

Tony had no such restraint. He looked her up and down again, slowly. "You sure?"

The blatant ogling had her hands coming out of her pockets, moving to prop on her hips as she let herself return the favor, taking her time to make up for the hesitancy before. "I don't talk just to hear words come out of my mouth, so yeah, I'm sure."

"You're sure you're not looking for shame," he repeated, stepping closer, as if he'd been challenged. "Because it seems to me, there's not a lot else you're going to find, talking to someone like me in a place like this."

"Pretty damn positive," she answered, straightening slightly as he stepped closer. "And who says I'm not just trying to be friendly, huh? Maybe I'm just extending a welcome. Or something."

"It just strikes me," Tony said, "that extending a welcome around here probably leads to something shameful." He rattled the beads in his hand. "Or at least it should."

"How'd that rhyme go? 'Sex is evil, evil is sin, sin is forgiven, so sex is in'? Seems like that's the motto of this little reality porno." She looked at the beads in his hand, the corner of her mouth quirking up again.

He held them out, lips pursed. "Did you want to make a different selection?" he asked dryly, not sure why he was asking. This wasn't what he'd been about to do, he thought. There was something else, right? Right. The suit. But it wasn't here.

"I dunno. We never established who'd do what to whom with the blue. Am I accepting or suggesting?" She looked over the beads, reaching out a finger to roll them around on his palm, nail tickling over his skin.

"Depends," he said, cocking his head. "How good are you?"

"Hey, just because I don't throw myself into orgies every other weekend doesn't mean I lack experience."

Tony raised his free hand. "You're right, that was rude," he said. "But you know, it's part of my charm. I'll show you."

On a whim--which was how he did a lot of things--he pocketed the beads and fell to his knees in front of her, tugging up her shirt to press a kiss to her belly.

She blinked at him in surprise when he suddenly dropped to his knees. The surprise turned into a small laugh at the tickle of his facial hair on her stomach, a contrast of the heat of his lips and the stronger flutter they both sent through her. "That's your charm, hmm? It's almost effective."

It was more than effective at directing all of her concentration onto him, though. She found a hand moving to slide into his hair, brushing through it as she kept grinning. "Would it be rude for me to say you look good on your knees like that?"
