CITY OF ARIEL: THE TEST DRIVE THE OVERFLOW, PART DEUX! Since the last post is again fast approaching 3k comments and getting laggy for some of our players, we have decided to go ahead and stick up the overflow post, even though there's just a little over a week to game start. Please continue your threads or start new ones here if you'd like. We started the meme early to give you plenty of room to do just that. ◆◆◆◆ With the City of Ariel grand opening only a month away, we are holding our first ever test drive meme. Tag in and see how your character would settle in the game. You're a fresh face in the city, newly processed, and arriving at a bustling time. The city is expanding and you are greeted first in the re-education center by your helpful counselors and then directed out of the building to a large festival. Be puzzled, make friends, have sex, or whatever you want! There are no restrictions on thread types played out here. Your first awareness that something has gone wrong comes during a groggy moment of semi-lucidity when you look around yourself and find that -- instead of wherever you remember being last -- you're in a chair, in a room with a man you don't recognize. He's sitting behind a desk whistling to himself and sorting paperwork. The whole atmosphere might remind you of a high school guidance counselor's office, only with far more comfortable chairs. When your head clears enough to speak and you ask him where you are, he smiles brightly and says, "Welcome to the City of Ariel." You were brought to Ariel during a very special time! There's a large festival going on celebrating the new expansions to the city and everything is decked out for it. Everything is bustling and vibrant in the city today because of the celebrations. There are decorations up, food vendors set up all along the streets, kissing booths, games, and just about anything else you can imagine an event like this would have! The people of Ariel are out and about as well, some are in vibrant costumes and others are just checking out the sights. Some of the more exhibitionist types are even having a little more fun out in public than you may be used to seeing back home. As soon as the grogginess from your arrival passes, you are allowed to leave the re-education center and see it all for yourself. Upon exiting, you are even handed beads of various colors, several of each so you don't worry about running out. Each color has a special meaning listed below: pink - toys blue - oral yellow - watersports green - age play lavender - crossdressing orange - multiples grey - bondage white - hands (mutual masturbation, fingering, handjob) red - blood black - wildcard These are to aid you in making a connection with others. Show your interest in others and tell them exactly what you would like to do with them by sharing the beads. If you would rather take a different approach, feel free to walk around the festival and see what (or who) catches your eye. The point is to relax and get settled in your new home.

"Oookay. Whatever you say, Mister Not interested in anything actually moving." She grinned more cheekily at him, enjoying poking fun at him.

"Didn't say I ain't interested. 'Course I am." Sometimes, just not all the damn time. Especially not right now.

"Mmhmm. That's why I haven't seen you ogling one set of totally flashed boobs. Unless you swing the other way. Which is, you know, cool and all." He's just too easy.

"I ain't a queer neither! Jesus Christ, man, you're way too interested in who I fuck." He wasn't easy! She was annoying.

"I just find it interesting that you're so defensive about it. You're 'definitely not queer', but you haven't bothered using the excuse that no one cares to ogle any of the chicas that have strolled by completely starkers." She grinned widely, daring him to argue.

"What, so I gotta look at every pair of tits that passes me by just to prove I don't take it up the ass?"

"Or you could just look at one. And you don't have to be gay to take it up the rear, you know." Another wide, cheeky grin.

Okay, fine, fuck it. Daryl leaned forward enough to slam his hand down on the table. "Goddamn, just met you and already can see you're one nosy damn bitch! I ain't gonna look at assholes who kidnapped me, don't care how great their tits are. And my ass is off limits to everybody!"

Good lord. He was getting the hell out, right now. Straightening himself up with another glare, he headed straight for the door. Needed outta here.

She jumped a little at the smack to the table, getting up when he moved to leave. "Not everyone here's one of the assholes who kidnapped you, you know. A good bunch of the partiers are there are newbies."

Why was she moving after him? Oh yeah, because she felt a little bad getting him pissed and riled up. "Look, Daryl, you've got to lighten up. Maybe figure out the difference between teasing and not teasing."

"Yeah, well, whatever. I got other things on my mind... Good lord." Well, he mostly did anyway. Something kept feeding him damn images he had no time for. He gritted his teeth, trying to ignore how she was following him.

"I know what teasin' is."

"Yeah, well, clearly you don't if your panties are getting this bunched over a little bit of it." Yep, she was following him, because now she had to make sure he didn't cold-cock someone because he was miffed at her.

"Problem is, you're more annoyin' than a damn walker." He kept his steps quick, hands clenched as he maneuvered through the crowds. Damn, so many people...

"Why are you following me anyway?"

"Maybe I like you." Hah. "Maybe I just want to watch you try to squirm past that wall of naked, writhing bodies over there and pretend you don't like it." More likely.

"Maybe I'm bored." That too, and maybe subconsciously a little of the first one.

"You known me for a couple hours, y'don't like me." He rolled his eyes, giving a passing glance to the squirming bodies she was referring to. Dammit.

"Go join'em then, won't be bored then, will you?"

"I bond quickly." There was teasing and a bit of truth there. She'd clicked onto Bo within a heartbeat. Of course, she'd also saved her from some roofie slipping bastard, but, that was a different story.

"Nah, not much into group scenes. That's Bobo's style."

"Whatever." He scowled deeper, body tense as he tried to figure out some damn way to get the hell out.

"So what do you want?"

"Maybe I want to know a bit more about you and your strange, non-sex liking ways."

"Who the hell said I don't like sex? I like it just fine when I can have it on my own terms." Not because some assholes in the city told him to go forth and fuck, goddammit.

"You sure about that? I have yet to see a guy turn down free sex, whatever the reason. I mean, do you know what it is? Have you had it? See, it's when a man and a woman really like each other, they get naked and have 'special hug time'."

"Well, maybe all you know's a bunch of horndogs or something. Shit, I don't know!" He spun around, eyes narrowing a little as he stepped up, close and in her personal space. He was seeing red, frustrated. "Look, I'm gonna spell it out for you... it ain't none of your goddamn business! I know what sex is. I ain't ignorant!"

She stopped when he did, but she didn't back away when he stepped up close. She tipped her chin up, giving him a stubborn look. "Watching it in porn doesn't mean you know squat, junior."

Jesus crap, what the hell was she doing? Was she purposefully egging him on? Seemed like it.
